As of January 1, 2019, any transfer or conveyance of real estate which is brought to the Ross County Auditor's Office is subject to a fee of $4.00 per thousand of value received, plus $0.50 per parcel.
EXAMPLE: A property consisting of 3 parcels sells for $200,000. The Auditor's Office would collect a fee of $801.50 [($4.00 x 200) + ($0.50 x 3 parcels) = $801.50].
